[Cap.Jang Game] 2.Street Fighter II turbo /Capcom, Nintendo SNES (ストリートファイタ2ターボ・任天堂スーパーファミコン)

Artwork : Street Fighter II turbo
By : Capcom
Platform : Super Famicom
Release Year : 1991
Language : Japanese

This game is popular & famous. In this review, I'd like to tell you about detailed ones which have never been mentioned in other articles.

The drawing on the background is by Sharaku who was a great artist in Japan.

An additional bonus stage, breaking bricks.

This symbol 'the rising sun' was a flag of Japanese Imperial Navy in the 2nd World War. But it's different with the flag of Nazis. The Rising Sun is not a illegal symbol.

A historical site in Thailand, the stage for Sagat, muaythai.

The drawing on the background is Ganesya, a son of Shiba in Hinduism. This stage is for Dhalshim, a yogamaster. And you can see 4 elephants in this SNES version. But original one shows 6 elephants.

I've cleared whole stages in this game in the beginner's mode. Sadly, there was no ending scenes of each character. And it says, try to train harder, become stronger, challenge this game again.

General Review
About SNES version, it's not a perfect transplantation, but considering the spec of SNES, this version is a really great work closed to the original arcade one.
