This painting was by Gen. Nabezima who joined the Japansese Army of Crane castle in 1597~1598.

Unfortunately, this mountain castle didn't have any of springs and wells.

So, Japanese Army drank horses' blood and their urine.

That shows us the hell at that moment.

This is the map of Crane castle. In Korean, its name is Haksung.

I found a small pond but this can contain small amount of rain.
